There was a research done on womens handbags to know women better by the author Kathryn Eisman who spent two years researching the contents of women’s handbags to come up with the book How to Tell a Woman by Her Handbag.

He catagorised all the women’s in four section after researching their handbags for years like :

Minimalist

Womens who are super organised and do not want to carry junk with them. They just have few things very important in their handbags. These kind of women like to be managed in all aspects of life and are bit reserved type. They hate clutter and are likely to carry a small bag that fits just under the shoulder. THings which you can find in these kind of women are keys, wallet and mobile phone.

Prepared

These women want to be prepared any situation they face so they have everything from keys, mobile phone, tissue paper, hair clip and even phone charger. They have a purpose and place for everything they have in thier purse. These women adopt classic style and do not experiment much with the cuts and the style. They generally go for neutral colours and dont like to swap their handbags frequently.

Creative

These women are fun to be with and easily approachable, they show this my swaping their bags frequently according to their outfit and mood. Bright colours are their true friends to show they are cheerful and full of life. You can get anything in their handbags from bills and medicine to spare change and food wrappers. May can be messy outside but very understanding inside.

Expressive

These kind of women have more feeligs for others then herself and she carries 50% of her things for near and dear ones. These caring and sensitive women carry a bag full of items that are useful to others, such as medicines, plasters, mints, perfume, tissues and safety pins. Sentimental kind of person who keeps the photos of loved ones with her.
